Misaki and Kiba

Description

This is a commissioned piece for :iconnordicangel:! It is of her OC Misaki with Kiba from Naruto. Her OC was really fun to draw! There was a lot of detail put in to her which normally most leave out including me. I also enjoyed drawing Kiba! It's been a while since I've done anything Naruto-ish. Hmm. Anyway, I think it turned out well! It's always a good feeling to finish a piece of artwork. :)

Enjoy!

This is so cute. I love their interaction with him holding her like that, and how they're lost in each other's eyes.

I really like her face a lot. She looks so content and happy. Her eyes have this calm, relaxed, at home look as he holds her, and her little smile reflects that, too.

Their poses work really well. Kiba's is pretty straightforward, but it all looks really good. I like how she's curled up as he holds her -- it looks really convincing, it feels like her body is reacting against gravity as it should.

The coloring and shading and everything all look great, as usual in your work. : )

I think how her arms are folded look good in terms of looking natural and having a realistic feel and weight to them. But, I don't think that pose fits well with this scene. Everything else about her pose and expression tells how she feels about him, with lots of warm and content emotion. The folded arms kinda break that up; that body language conflicts with everything else by seeming too casual. I think having her hugging his neck, or her hands together, or something else would've worked together better with the rest of her body language. Again, I think they are drawn well, and feel very natural and convincing, I just don't think they tell the story of the mood and emotion of this pic as well as they could.

Overall, this is awesome. : ) Great stuff.
